Workflows in the RDMS
The RDMS has a number of workflows defined for specific actions. As of the current state of the system, you have access to these workflows:
- Archiving Workflow: Start this workflow if the project is over and you want to freeze data in an archive.
- Project Participation Request: Start this workflow if you want to ask for access to an existing project.
The figure below shows you where to find the Workflow page in the RDMS Web Interface. If you click on the Workflow icon in the sidebar menu, you will open a pageview with a list of all the projects you have permissions on. These projects are your starting point for the archiving workflow.
By double-clicking on a project, you can open the project view in the workflow page (see figure below). In this view, you can easily navigate between workflows related to the selected project and check their status. The option wheel on the top corner will let perform certain actions if you have the right permissions. More details on what you can do inside each workflow can be found in the specific workflow pages.
