RDMS Team drives

Team drives are areas in the RDMS where researchers can and data managers can add their research data and share their data with other users of the RDMS.

Team drives may be considered as data sharing areas for collaborations. The main differences between a group drive and a project area is the permissions and restrictions set to the data inside those directories.

For example in a project area the data manager is the only user who has the rights to create a project, grant permissions to users or remove data objects. In the group drive area, every user may create a directory and add data to share with other users.
