Sharing files and folders

Files stored in your Home folder are only accessible by the owner. But it is possible to share folders and files from your home drive by making a shared link.

How to make a shared link in the RDMS:

• Open the WebApp of RDMS: https://research.web.rug.nl/rdmswebapp
• Simply select the folder or file; click right and select “shared link” from the drop down menu. This folder is now visible in the menu Shared but only accessible to the users with the proper rights to that file or folder.

You will also share files if you save these in a Group or Project folder.
