With Linux

There are multiple ways to interact with the RDMS from the Linux OS.

  • Via the RDMS WebApp : https://research.web.rug.nl/rdmswebapp. The RDMS WebApp will allow you to upload or download single files. But it mainly written for user management of groups and projects and to create an easy workflow for scientific projects.
  • You can use WebDAV via your file browser.
  • Or mount the RDMS via iRODS Fuse
  • The complete functionality to the RDMS comes with iCommands on the command line interface (CLI).

Linux Workspace (LWP) and the HPC cluster (Peregrine)

On both platforms iCommands are installed.

On the LWP you can use WebDAV and Fuse to access the RDMS.
