Collaboration
A VRE must always be initialized by a researcher from the UG. Students and members of staff from the UG can use their UG credentials to login to a VRE.
The VRE is connected to SURFconext. The IT cooperation for Universities and higher education (SURF) provides this platform for federated authentication of connected institutions in the Netherlands.
If the research project needs researchers outside of the UG, these researchers can use an EduID account to log in to their VRE.
