Data in the RDMS

In the RDMS we use these concepts about data storage:

We support access to the RDMS via different clients, for example the web portal, GUI clients like Cyberduck or the command line. This section provides a general overview about the different options for data transfer depending on the size of the data that should be transferred. In general, it should be noted that the web portal was specifically written with the idea of data management in mind (e.g. working with metadata (templates), permission management) and is limited in its data transfer capabilities.

In the RDMS it is possible to change permissions and inheritance and also to share files and folders. These tasks can be performed within the web portal, or via the command line.
