Frequently Asked Questions

The VRW has no Internet connection, so a VRW user is not able to install R packages. There are two possibilities to install R packages in the VRW:

1. There is a trusted mirror of the CRAN that get's updated daily and is available on the VRW. The path to the mirror must be set by the user: http://rep001.research.usor.nl/
2. You can install packages from your home drive (H:\) or group drive (G:\) if you have the rights to upload data. Data managers and Researcher+ roles may upload data to the VRW.

VRW users for Atlas.Ti need to log in to Atlas.Ti. Researchers from the UG can use their personnel number (p-account), and external researchers can log in with their institutional account if the institution has a license for Atlas.Ti. During the VRW intake consultation we will discuss the applications needed for the study. If Atlas.Ti is deemed necessary, the VRW consultant can arrange for an OEP account for external researchers. An OEP account is an account for external personnel of the UG.
