+The landing page of the RDMS Web interface contains three main sections: the navigation menu, the directory browser, and the content area. Hover over the {{:rdms:webapp:interface_question_button.png?direct&20|}} button in the menu bar to view the menu items available to you. Select a menu icon to open the corresponding browser and content page. By default, the Web interface opens the "Data Browser" for all users (see the figure above).

+The green box in the figure above marks the directory browser. It provides quick access to your files and folders in the RDMS. Depending on your permissions, you may not see entries under "Projects" and "Team Drives". You can navigate through various Menu items of the web portal, such as ''Data browser'', ''Search'' or ''Metadata Template Settings''. By default, the landing page of the Web portal will look like as in shown in Figure 1 for all users; meaning that the content of the ''Data browser'' will be present. Note that, depending on your role as a user you might not see all the Menu items shown in Figure 2.
