This is the page with the user documentation of the Peregrine HPC cluster of the University of Groningen.

The Peregrine Falcon is the fastest animal on earth, when stooping down on its prey. It can reach a speed of more than 320 km/h when stooping down on its prey.

The pronunciation of the word Peregrine is like this.

The cluster can be used by scientists from the university for performing simulations and data analyses. The scientific output generated by the use of the cluster has been gathered on Scientific output.

The current status (regarding issues and scheduled maintenance) of the Peregrine cluster can be found at the HPC Status Page: https://status.hpc.rug.nl.

For more information about support, see the support page. Note that, due to the coronavirus, the walk-in sessions have been moved online until further notice.
