+VRW users outside of the UG, UMCG or institutions connected to SURFconext can be added to a VRW. These VRW users can log in via an EduID. You can use EduID to login to several services connected to SURFconext like the VRW.
+To create an account go to [[https://eduid.nl/]] and request an eduID. Make sure to use the same email address as is known for your participation in the VRW.
+**N.B** It is a good idea to change the authentication method. The default authentication method is by email. If you set the authentication method to a password, logging in to the VRW is quicker.
