Working with R in the VRW

The VRW has no Internet connection, so a VRW user is not able to install R packages from the regular repositories. There are two possibilities to install R packages in the VRW:

	*  There is a trusted mirror of the CRAN that get&#039;s updated daily and is available on the VRW. The path to the mirror must be set by the user:</description>

N.B. Only researchers with the role of Researcher+ or Data Manager can upload data to the VRW.

There are two ways to upload data to the VRW. 

With the Explorer in the VRW

All VRW users with the role of Researcher+ and data Manager can use this method. We recommend this method for incidental uploading and small files to about 1GB. The method via SFTP can be used for frequently uploading and for uploading large files.
