The more elaborated data management tasks, as well as the management of RDMS Teams and Projects is done via the “Data Management Tab” which can be found on the left-side panel of the web interface.
Note: This tab is just visible if your account has the correct permissions for that. If you do not see the tab, but need it for your data management tasks, please contact RDMS-Support
If you hover over or click on the symbol of the data management tab, the web interface will show you an overview with the RDMS Teams, Projects, and Groups that are available to you.
For further information about the management of RDMS Team Drives via the data management tab, have a look at the Team Drive section of the wiki.

While the Team Drive wiki section already explains the usage of RDMS groups in the context of RDMS Team Drives, the concept of groups can be also used in other storage areas of the system.
In general, groups serve to collect RDMS users into one single entity. This can be used to, for example, assign/manage the same permissions for multiple users at the same time.
To create a new group in the RDMS, first open the data management tab, then select the button, and choose “New Group” from the context menu that opens.
Specify a group name in the next window and confirm via “Save” to create your new group.
Afterwards, the web portal will automatically open the user overview about your group. You will also see the newly created group listed on the left side of the data management tabs under “My groups”.
This view also gives you an overview about all current RDMS users that are member of the selected group.
You can use the button and then select “Add Group member” to add a new user to your group.
You can also use the button next to a user's name to remove this user from the current group.
Groups can be used to assign permissions in a similar way to normal RDMS users. For example, you can share files/folders with a group instead of single users. Please see the Sharing Files and Folders section of the Wiki for more info on how to share files/folders in the RDMS.
